New Product at Laura Lively Designs

First of all, I want to thank everyone who made my grand opening and my debut as a designer such a success. I really appreciate all of your support! The doors to my shoppe have been open for a week now. And since I opened on a Tuesday, I felt it only fitting that new products are released on Tuesday. But first, let me show you the new freebie... It is an alpha that I absolutely LOVE! And I hope that you love it too. I call it Picnic in the Park and it is inspired by all the times my kiddos and I go to the "big" (as they call it) Park and sit under the "big" tree to eat our lunch that we brought in brown paper bags... And without further ado I would like you all to meet "Picnic in the Park Alpha" (isn't she purty!?) Get this now because in one week it will be going up to full price ($2.99)

Loaded into the shoppe today is a brand new Kit. I call this one Summer Sorbet because the colors are reminiscent of all the colors of summer when your a kid. The texture is a bit worn, but I promise you will love it!

My Baby WON!!!!

I really love my boy! And he WON! David Cook Won! (although, I hope the idol machine doesn't turn him into a cookie cutter idol!) I hope he stays true to him!

And on to the news...

I know I haven't been keeping up like a good little blogger, but if there are any of you that actually read my blog then you know about my little secret that was getting really hard to keep secret! Well, after this it won't be a secret anymore. I have been a designing freak for the last month! I really didn't know it was in me until it just burst forth onto the screen! And now, after I told my Dear hubs about this new creative release, do you know what this wonderful man did for me??? He went out and bought me a domain name and set me up with my very own store!

So I was a busy little bee this weekend. Not only was a creating LO's like a mad woman, I was designing too! sorry no freebie today... :( But I wanted to mention, that I have a few new teams to add to my sidebar. YAY! I was chosen to be a part of Scrapkitchen's (Susan Bartollini) CT (seriously, this is my DREAM CT) and Penny's Miscellany's (Penny Springmann) CT. And this month I am a guest for the lovely Birgit Kerr!

So I didn't get to do much this NSD... I had 2 soccer games and of course hubby was busy after the games so I couldn't pawn the kids off on him. I didn't get much scrapping done at all! But I did got "other" scrapping related things done...
